The SW Wall Inlet includes a back pin to prevent sliding. You can insert the pin into the straight duct punch-out hole for a secure fit, or break it off for a tight, flush installation.

Q. What are the protrusions inside the SW and SK?
A. The protrusions (pins) inside the SW Wall Inlet prevent slips in vertical applications. If not needed, they can be removed safely.

Caution:

  • Slimduct SD is not waterproof. For waterproofing, seal all seams, screw heads, and wall penetrations with a weatherproof sealant or putty.
  • Operate within –4°F to 140°F. Protect Slimduct and SW Wall Inlet from direct or radiant heat.
  • Avoid using impact screwdrivers; use hand tools to prevent cracking the PVC.
  • Use the SL-300 Strap Kit to secure linesets inside the duct.
